I read your report of global expansion of media and contents. It is interesting that the Chinese media strategies share some qualities of Chinese foreign policies, such as “Media Warfare” and “Psychological Warfare,” by which they achieve an aim, without battle, leading public opinion. Turkey is said to adopt the similar strategies.
On the other hand, Japanese attitude to the provision of its media and contents has changed from “international goodwill” to “commercialization”. It is doubtful whether the public subsidy and the taxpayer’s money should be used under the circumstances where it is uncertain that Japan and its People can make a profit.
