23rd JAMCO Online International Symposium
February 2015 - October2015
Audience Perception of Japanese TV Programs in Asia and the Middle East.
Readers’ Feedback (5)
It is really interesting to see the surveys which show the usefulness of international programs in schools of Asia and Middle East, because they clearly describe how they are perceived by viewers having different cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Mr. Tanaka’s survey at the university in Thailand shows some opinions by students who watched NHK World TV.
I think there are some different opinions and impressions from Japanese one.
Students in Thailand frankly express their negative opinions like “boring”.
I think in order to promote international program viewing, it is needed to take into account viewer’s voice.
